Tour de Fun editorial
Waterland begins with a useful piece of city transport: the free ferry across the IJ. Almost immediately, Amsterdam’s density loosens into polders and wooden villages. The landscape is flat but never empty; wind, water and small changes in direction shape the day. It is a reminder that the edge of a city can be one of its best rides.
