On the Danube Cycle Path, the river does much of the navigational work. Towns arrive at useful intervals, ferries shift the perspective and the valley keeps the journey legible. That rhythm is why the route suits a first multi-day tour: each stage can feel complete while still belonging to a much larger line across Europe.
